This is really nice. I'm a huge fan of those glowing eyes, but I see a few problems in the hand, and the partially hidden eyebrow looks a bit bizarre, (but I see what you were going for). Though I am no expert in hands, I think the problem is the finger length. The problem with the eyebrow is due to the way the higher, arched eyebrow is thinner and doesn't start in the same place.

The shading and the colors are quite nice, but I suggest working on faces, because that's when it starts falling apart. The most blaring problem is the space between the lips and the nose, and the awkward jawline.

Very pretty, I love the almost digital-impressionist style. I agree about the thought that the fire is too overwhelming, as it makes it look as if the orange fire is closer to us than the blue, due to the orange glow covering a lot more area. Unless that was your intention, it's hard to tell. I do like the bright colors, however. It makes the piece pop.
